What support have we inherited from childhood? How can we use it in the present? Participants of the art therapy masterclass will get acquainted with self-discovery practices through creativity. Drawing, discussion, reflection - all of this will help to look at familiar things from a new angle. As part of the project 'Intellectual Breakfast at Lermontovka', a masterclass dedicated to a topic that touches everyone - inner supports that come from family - will take place in the Classical Hall of the Central Library. After all, family resources often become invisible but powerful sources of support during various periods of life. This is a meeting where you don’t need to be an artist. Here, honesty with oneself and the willingness to try are more important. Under the guidance of experienced psychologist Natalia Ievleva, participants will learn art therapy methods that help explore personal history and rethink the past. During the masterclass, participants will be invited to create their own creative works using different materials. Then, they will discuss them in a group. Such interaction allows one to see how multifaceted feelings can be and how important the support of other people is in the process of understanding oneself. The uniqueness of the format lies in a gentle and caring approach. No one evaluates, criticizes, or corrects. Each participant moves at their own pace, revealing their own inner meanings.
