In the master class at the library, the focus is on a small symbol of the holiday - a gypsum figure of a girl who has come to the folk celebration. Each participant receives a blank and transforms it into a character with their own personality, colors, and story. First, the host explains why Maslenitsa is considered the farewell to winter and the meeting of spring, what colors and patterns were often seen on festive clothing, and how folk motifs transition into modern decor. Children and adults recall familiar childhood images, compare them with what is on the table, and imagine what their heroine will be like - a strict beauty, a mischievous girl, or a dreamy guest at the fair. Then the work with paints begins. Participants choose a palette, decide which details to make accentuated, and try to combine warm and cool shades.
