This masterclass welcomes schoolchildren and their parents, especially dads who are interested in science and want to learn more about atomic energy. The masterclass leader will introduce participants to the history of the discovery of the atomic structure of the universe and atomic energy, and will explain the advantages of radiation. Participants will learn about the types of radiation and which are safe for humans, how nuclear energy and medicine are related, and how their interaction will develop in the future. Additionally, guests will observe the tracks of alpha particles in a safe environment.
