Fairy tales, imagination, and a bit of paper - everything you need to bring a winter story to life. In this masterclass, participants will create shadow puppets inspired by New Year books and cartoons, and will be able to put on a real mini-performance for their loved ones. An inspiring activity for young wizards. December is a time when we especially long for miracles. And to bring them closer, it takes a little imagination, a little inspiration, and a touch of handmade work. At the Children's Center of the Museum of Cinema, a masterclass will take place where participants will create shadow characters themselves and get a boost of festive spirit. Everything here will remind of a winter fairy tale: beloved New Year plots, familiar characters from books and cartoons, cozy creativity, and joy from the result. With the help of paper, light, and their own hands, children will turn ideas into real heroes - the kind that can be brought to life in a home shadow performance. The process of creating puppets will allow participants to feel like real animator artists. This experience not only develops fine motor skills and imagination but also helps children better understand how cinema was born. After all, everything once began with shadows and projections - just like those that the masterclass participants will create. And most importantly - everyone will take home a finished puppet and an idea for a home performance that can be arranged for family and friends. Also - new knowledge, warm emotions, and faith in miracles that can easily be created with one's own hands. The number of places is limited - only 16 participants can attend the meeting. Therefore, it is advisable to book a free ticket in advance. This activity is suitable for children from six years old who love to draw, craft, tell stories, and play. But adults will also enjoy it: watching fairy tales come to life in a child's hands is a true pleasure. Ideas on where to go in Moscow are collected on our website.
