At the "ATOM" Museum, scientific New Year miracles are happening. This time, participants of the masterclass will uncover the secret of evergreen fir trees and create New Year fragrances. At the New Year masterclasses at the "ATOM" Museum, children and parents dive into science and exciting experiments together. The classes take place in a real laboratory equipped with scientific experiment tools. On December 26, guests will enter the micro world: they will examine mandarins and fir needles under a microscope. From the large cells of citrus fruits, participants will try to isolate DNA. They will also learn why the fir tree retains its green color in winter and summer, and where the beloved New Year scents of fir and mandarins are hidden. Then, participants will get acquainted with the method of extracting scents from plants - distillation, creating a hydrosol, pouring it into bottles, and taking it home. Each will have a New Year fragrance created by their own hands! 20 minutes before the masterclass starts, the group gathers in the museum lobby, and 5 minutes before, they head to the laboratory.
