The Clay Wonders Workshop invites young creators and their parents to warm and cozy sculpting sessions. Under the guidance of an experienced teacher, children will create their first clay masterpieces, learn basic hand-sculpting techniques, and enjoy the process. Each piece will be fired and preserved. The Clay Wonders Workshop at the Children’s Center "18 - " is a special place where a child can not only have fun but also unlock their creative potential, get acquainted with the amazing world of ceramics, and feel pride in the results of their efforts. Sculpting with clay is one of the oldest and yet most relevant forms of handcraft. Here, children not only create figures but also gain full skills in working with natural materials: they learn to sculpt, shape, connect parts, and use various hand-sculpting techniques. In the process, they develop fine motor skills, attention, patience, and imagination. Classes are conducted by Daria Chernykh - a teacher with professional artistic and ceramic education. Her approach combines technical knowledge, a sensitive attitude towards each child, and the ability to engage them in the process. Each master class has its own theme: from cute kittens to capybaras and beloved pets - the child can choose what resonates with them. All pieces undergo thermal treatment in a muffle kiln and become real souvenirs - they can be taken home, given as gifts, or kept as a memory of the first experience in pottery. The workshop is ideally suited for children aged 6 and up. Younger children can also participate but must be accompanied by parents. The format of the classes is suitable for both a single child and the whole family - a friendly atmosphere and true creative spirit prevail here.
