Participants of the masterclass will create a surrealistic collage, guided by the system of symbols of David Lynch. David Lynch's visual world is easily recognizable from the first frames: anxious tenderness, strange symbolic objects, a sense that familiar reality is about to crack. Guests of the masterclass will try to create a collage filled with symbols in the spirit of Lynchian surrealism. Cutouts, textures, and found images will be used - everything from which a new story can be born. You will assemble a collage, relying on surrealistic techniques and trusting chance. This technique is called aleatory: elements are combined randomly, the composition is formed from unexpected coincidences, and the author learns not to "squeeze" meaning but to observe where the material leads. The finished work can be taken home - as a personal artifact and a reminder that chance is sometimes more reliable than plans. The masterclass is suitable for those interested in cinema, contemporary art, and who enjoy working with their hands. You can come for new ideas, recharge after a workday, meet like-minded people, and gather materials for further experiments at home. The event is part of the mini-festival "Black Wigwam," dedicated to surrealist filmmakers of the past and present. Where to go in Moscow, KudaGo knows.
