The master class is dedicated to the legendary urban dessert that many remember from the pastry shop windows of the Soviet era. Participants will learn about the history of the recipe, discover the ingredients that make up the famous pastry, and try to make it themselves. The history of the famous urban dessert began in the late 1960s when a special recipe was created, distinguished by its rich flavor and soft texture. Over time, this pastry became a true symbol of its city and gained wide recognition far beyond its borders. It was made in large factories, sold in pastry shops and bakeries, and for many, it became a taste of childhood that can be easily recognized from the first bite. During the class, participants will learn about the history of the recipe and find out how it differs from other popular Soviet sweets. The instructor will explain which products were used in the original version and why they give the pastry its characteristic moist texture and rich aroma. Special attention will be paid to the cooking technology - from kneading the dough to proper baking. The practical part will allow participants to try their hand as pastry chefs. Under the guidance of the instructor, participants will prepare the dessert with their own hands, learn to work with the ingredients, and discover how to achieve the desired consistency and taste.
