On the last day of August, the Library on Karpovka invites young participants to an unusual workshop "Archaeology of Summer," conducted by representatives of the Museum of Archaeology of St. Petersburg. First, the kids will go for a walk on Petrograd Island. Carefully observing the surrounding space, they will look for items that can become unique "artifacts" of the departing season. These can be leaves, feathers, interesting stones, details of the urban environment, or small items related to summer events. After the walk, participants will return to the library, where the second part of the workshop will begin - creating the "cultural layer" of summer 2025. Inspired by the atmosphere of archaeological excavations, the kids will place the collected items on a special base, creating a composition that will serve as a reminder of the time that has passed.
