Two days of Maslenitsa in Pavlovsky Park will bring together children's games, family competitions, and folk traditions. The celebration will conclude with a ceremonial farewell to winter. On February 21 and 22, the "Pavlovsk" museum-reserve invites you to celebrate Maslenitsa at the Gulyan Square. On Saturday, there will be a children's "Funny Maslenitsa" with games, relays, quizzes, and musical performances. The central event will be the Maslenitsa Parade: participants are invited to prepare dolls in advance from straw, fabric, yarn, or other materials. Winners will be chosen by secret ballot. On Sunday, the day of Wide Maslenitsa will take place. Family teams will participate in traditional games, men will compete in strength, and housewives will showcase their skills in themed quizzes. Guests can look forward to round dances, theatrical scenes, a folk orchestra, and workshops. Throughout the celebration, pancakes, tea, and sweets will be available. The finale will be a fiery farewell to winter at 16:00. Let's share ideas on where to go in St. Petersburg this weekend.
