About

With summer still not wanting to say goodbye, the new season of improvised readings begins with a dacha theme. Participants will assign roles and read excerpts from the works of Nekrasov, Chekhov, Teffi, Zoshchenko, and other authors. Participants of the meeting will read in roles excerpts from the works of Russian authors, where summer is already nearing its end, gardens are changing colors, and the coolness of the first autumn days is felt in country life. The program includes works by Nikolai Nekrasov, Anton Chekhov, Nadezhda Teffi, Mikhail Zoshchenko, and other authors. Their texts form a peculiar "dacha salon," where humor, everyday observations, human characters, and the feeling of changing seasons coexist. The reading takes place in an improvised manner. There is no need to prepare a role in advance or demonstrate acting skills. The host Anna Kharitonova is a poet and philologist. She will help connect different works with a common theme and assist each participant in becoming part of the process. Entertainment in Moscow is collected on our website.
