However, the writer's creativity is much broader, and this is precisely what the organizers of the project "In Roles" will emphasize. The December meeting at the "Musical Cellar" is a live, almost spontaneous reading. There will be no pre-approved role distribution or clear script. Participants literally create the performance together, reading the text in roles, discussing the characters, feelings, and motives of the heroes. The host of the meeting, poet and philologist Anna Kharitonova, helps immerse into the context and adds nuances that make the process even brighter. This time, the focus will be on Fonvizin's plays "The Brigadier" and "The Choice of a Governess". They are rarely read, even less often discussed, and even more rarely performed live. The reading format does not require acting preparation, but encourages improvisation and personal perception.
