Guests of the non/fiction book fair will be able to write the «Lingvatant» - a dictation filled with the main words of the past year, with «anxiety» taking the top spot. The dictation will allow participants to check their literacy and also try to understand their emotions. The project is organized by the imprint «Lingva» (publishing house «AST non-fiction»). All visitors of the spring non/fictio№ book fair, which will take place at Gostiny Dvor, will be able to write the «Lingvatant». Since the main word of 2025 according to the «Word of the Year» project is «anxiety», the organizers of the dictation have consulted a relevant specialist. The text was prepared and will be read by the famous psychologist and writer Alexander Schwab, and guests will write under his dictation. The completed works will be checked by teachers from the Russian language department of MGIMO. All necessary writing materials will be provided to participants on-site. The session will open at 14:00, the dictation itself will begin at 14:05, and participants will submit their works at 14:20. While the experts check the works, Alexander Schwab will give a short lecture on the causes of anxiety and how to cope with it. From 14:40 to 14:45, participants of the «Lingvatant» will be ceremoniously awarded commemorative tokens.
