Seven documentary films invite you to embark on architectural journeys through India, Japan, Spain, Sweden, the USA, and Italy. The program consists of seven documentary films about architecture, each examining a specific figure, place, or social process. Together, they form a broad panorama of the 20th and 21st centuries: from modernist experiments to debates about gentrification and sustainable development. One of the films addresses Chandigarh - an Indian city designed by Le Corbusier as a model for a new society. The authors investigate what remains of the original utopia decades later and how residents adapt the strict architectural system to everyday life. Another film explores Carlo Scarpa's connection to Japan and shows how Eastern aesthetics influenced his conception of beauty, material, and space. Individual cinematic portraits are dedicated to Enric Miralles and Sigurd Lewerentz. The former appears as a vibrant and controversial figure in Spanish architecture, while the latter is portrayed as a reclusive master of Swedish modernism. The program also includes a more social perspective on the city: the story of Brooklyn's Sunset Park shows how development, rising prices, politics, and residents' interests collide in the debate over the neighborhood's future.
