In the autumn of 1922, philosophers, scientists, and cultural figures were expelled from the country; the journey through Germany on the ships "Oberburgomistr Haken" and "Prussia" turned into an image of forced exile and defined the new intellectual landscape of the 20th century. The lecture focuses on the fates and ideas of representatives of Russian thought in exile. Nikolai Berdyaev, Ivan Ilyin, Sergey Bulgakov, Nikolai Lossky, Pitirim Sorokin, Lev Karsavin - names that still provoke debate.
