About

This lecture introduces the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and the theory of the five elements. Participants will learn about the connection between the body and natural cycles, analyze the significance of the earth element, and explore approaches to everyday health care through observation of habits, nutrition, and lifestyle. Traditional Chinese medicine views a person as part of the surrounding world, where seasonal changes, nutrition, movement, and emotional state are interconnected. The meeting is dedicated to one of the important concepts of this direction - the system of five elements, which has been used for centuries to describe processes occurring in nature and the body. During the lecture, participants will become familiar with the basic principles of Yin-Yang and learn how this theory explains the relationship between humans and seasonal changes. Special attention will be given to the earth element, which in the traditional approach is associated with the functioning of the digestive system, maintaining internal balance, and the body's ability to adapt to stress. The poster for St. Petersburg is available on KUDAGO.
