The focus will be on Pomor traditions, the current life of northern settlements, and a special sense of closeness to the region that few reach. The meeting will discuss the ancient villages of the White Sea, many of which appeared here hundreds of years ago and still preserve the memory of the past in their way of life, architecture, names, habits, and human stories. The lecture will help to see this region deeper than in standard tourist routes. Listeners will mentally travel to hard-to-reach northern settlements, get acquainted with the diversity of the nature of the White Sea, and try to understand what these villages live by today. We will share on our website where to go with children in St. Petersburg.
