The lecture will show how the periods of growing up change under the influence of the city, digital environment, and new forms of communication, and how the dialogue between the child and the adult is restructured when old models no longer work. This lecture addresses a topic that concerns almost everyone. It will discuss the transitional periods of childhood-moments when a child changes particularly noticeably, and familiar communication patterns suddenly stop working. Today, such stages are increasingly understood through the influence of the urban environment, digital habits, and new scenarios of growing up. The event is part of the public program of an exhibition dedicated to age boundaries. The perspective is important: childhood is considered not in isolation, but in connection with adulthood, old age, the sociology of space, visual anthropology, and how a person interacts with the surrounding world. This approach helps to see age as a dynamic system of relationships, norms, and expectations, rather than a set of stages from a textbook.
