Egor Sartakov's lecture is dedicated to the passionate loves and philosophical quests of Russian poets and writers of the early 20th century. They broke down conventions, rejected traditional roles, and sought new forms of love. Their relationships transcended the ordinary: some combined friendship and passion, others - creativity and faith, and others - occult practices and poetry. Special attention in the lecture will be given to pairs and trios such as Merezhkovsky, Gippius, and Philosophov, Bryusov, White, and Nina Petrovskaya, Alexander Blok and Lyubov Mendeleeva, as well as Anna Akhmatova and Olga Glebova-Sudeikina.
