About

Artificial intelligence is increasingly entering medicine and changing the very logic of health care - from reacting to illness to early detection and prevention. This lecture will help understand how algorithms work with medical data, why the issue of trust in them is so important, and how the roles of doctor and patient are changing. Today, discussions about technology in medicine can no longer be reduced to convenient services or new devices. Artificial intelligence is becoming more actively involved in processes that directly affect human health: it helps analyze images and medical scans, identify risks, notice deviations at early stages, and support medical decision-making. As a result, the very vector of medicine is changing - attention is gradually shifting from reacting to an already arisen problem to earlier detection of threats and prevention. Anna Andreichenko's lecture is dedicated to how these processes are structured in practice. The discussion will focus on the application of AI in clinical work, drug development, and systems that help doctors navigate large volumes of data. Such a conversation is especially important now, as digital medicine ceases to be a topic of the future and becomes part of the present.
