About

The lecture helps to understand where the boundary lies between your "self" and the expectations of others. Through the concepts of identity, personal boundaries, the Karpman triangle, and Moreno's sociometry, listeners will see why one can lose support in a team and how firmness combined with flexibility helps to remain oneself in dialogue, work, and close communication. In communication with people, it is easy to subtly adjust to others' expectations: agreeing when you want to refuse, taking on extra responsibility, staying silent in an argument, or, conversely, closing off too rigidly. The lecture by psychologist Tatyana Novikova analyzes this experience through two key concepts - identity and boundaries. A separate block will be dedicated to the psychological game "Karpman triangle" and Moreno's sociometry - a view of the group through connections, attraction, rejection, and informal roles.
