Participants will learn how to choose a sustainable lifestyle, what circular fashion is, and how even one outfit can change the world for the better. In the lecture hall "Closer to the Point. Trends," participants will be invited to look at everyday clothing as a source of global change - both conscious consumption and a sustainable future. The focus will be on the concept of the sharing economy: renting items instead of buying. This is not only a way to reduce the amount of unnecessary items in the closet but also a real contribution to reducing overproduction. Why should you rent a dress instead of buying a new one? How does the circular economy work, and what does it offer the fashion industry? These questions will be answered by the lecturer Anna Datsko - coordinator of the "Separate Collection" movement and founder of the startup "The Way of Things." We know what to see in St. Petersburg.
