The lecture will focus on Ivan Shishkin - the founder of realism in Russian landscape. On January 1st, a lecture by Lyubov Golovina dedicated to Ivan Shishkin - a Russian artist who masterfully combined precision in depicting details with painterly generalization - will take place in the Engineering Building of the Tretyakov Gallery. The late period of the master's work is particularly interesting, as he began to explore new techniques and the plein air method. Among his most famous paintings are "Morning in a Pine Forest" (in collaboration with Konstantin Savitsky), "Rye", "Kama near Yelabuga", "In the Wild North...", "Pines Lit by the Sun". We discuss other interesting events held by museums in Moscow in the relevant section.
