The meeting will discuss the Russian Museum as a space where the avant-garde is not just preserved but reinterpreted through exhibition solutions, scientific concepts, and work with the artists' legacy. One of the important figures will be Nikolai Punin - a person connected with the first exhibition of contemporary art in the museum. Through his experience, one can see how the language of presenting art, which itself sought to break familiar boundaries, was born.
