Tofik Shahverdiev is a distinguished artist of Russia, a people's artist of Azerbaijan, a laureate of two Nika awards, a member of the Union of Cinematographers and the Guild of Film Directors of Russia, and has worked at the Gorky Film Studio, Lenfilm, and Mosfilm, creating films from the "Childhood" series and shooting segments for "Yeralash."
