How did the death of the older brother affect Salvador Dalí's life and what pain lies behind the creator's outrageous behavior? Attendees of the lecture will explore the psychological aspects of the great artist's development and look at his work in a new light. When we hear the name Salvador Dalí, we think of the outrageous artist. However, not everyone knows that before the birth of the future surrealist, there was another Salvador Dalí. The outstanding creator never saw his deceased older brother, but he lived his entire life in his shadow. Together with a psychologist, the attendees will analyze the concept of "replacement child" and, using Salvador Dalí's fate as an example, trace the consequences of this phenomenon. The lecturer will explain the atmosphere in which young Salvador grew up, who the older brother was for him, how comparisons with the deceased relative influenced the artist's creative path, and which other celebrities have felt similar influences from their brothers. Details and ticket purchases can be found on the website. The ticket grants access to the exhibition "Dalí and Picasso" on the day of the event.
