Dmitri Shostakovich occupies a special place in the history of domestic music, and his connection with Leningrad has become one of the main topics for those studying his work. The city influenced the formation of the composer, became the space for important events in his life, and preserved the memory of the works created in different periods. During the meeting, participants will talk about how the author's creative path changed, which events were reflected in his music, and why the Leningrad period remains a significant part of cultural history.
