The lecture-discussion will explore delegation without anxiety, the feeling of losing control, and the habit of carrying everything on oneself. Participants will discuss why it is scary to delegate tasks, how to formulate expectations, and what helps achieve the desired result without unnecessary tension. Delegation seems to be a rational management skill, but in practice, it is accompanied by anxiety, distrust, and fear of losing control. That is why many find it easier to do the task themselves, even when time is running out and energy is fading. In the lecture-discussion, they will examine what happens at the moment of transferring a task to another performer. Participants will talk about why the result seems unpredictable, how the belief "no one can do it better than me" interferes, and why delegation requires preparation, not just a short phrase like "do this." Real situations from work and life will be the focus, where it is important to distribute responsibility but difficult to let go of familiar control.
