Why can intimacy be frightening, confessions seem dangerous, and relationships repeatedly follow a familiar but undesirable script? This meeting will help to understand what internal barriers most often hinder the establishment of warm and stable connections. On the eve of Valentine's Day, there will be a discussion about three deep fears that subtly influence personal life. Participants will discuss why emotional closeness feels like a threat to some, why others fear rejection, and why parental experiences continue to reflect in your own relationships-even against conscious desires. The lecture will thoroughly examine how these fears are formed, how they manifest in couples, and what can be done to stop them from controlling choices and behavior. At the end of the meeting, participants will be offered a small practical exercise to help identify which fear resonates the most and outline the first steps to work with it. The meeting will be conducted by practicing psychologist, transactional analyst, and CBT therapist Alya Shundrik. Registration is required to participate. Where to go in St. Petersburg will be told by KUDAGO.
