The lecture will showcase the library as a system of interfaces, where entry, navigation, digital services, and user pathways are important. Attendees will explore how cultural institutions manage access to knowledge, why information is never completely neutral, and what the library can reveal about the logic of modern platforms. An interface is usually associated with a screen: an app, a website, a navigation button, a search bar. However, ways of interacting with information exist beyond the digital realm. The library also constructs behavior scenarios: a person enters the space, searches for the necessary department, works with the catalog, consults staff, uses the website, services, access rules, and their own navigation experience. In the lecture, the library will be examined as a complex system of interfaces. Here, the physical space is connected to the digital infrastructure: the hall, the desk, signs, schedule, personal account, electronic catalog, and online communication come together to form a single user journey.
