The lecture will discuss the work of Anna Ostromova-Lebedeva - a student of Ilya Repin, Konstantin Savitsky, and Pavel Chistyakov. The first works of Anna Ostromova-Lebedeva were acquired by the Russian Museum in 1916. After the artist's death, all her works - drawings, watercolors, engravings, paintings - were transferred to the collection. Ostromova-Lebedeva's work marks the revival and flourishing of engraving.
