About

Anger and irritation are often perceived as feelings that need to be suppressed, but the lecture will suggest looking at them differently - as a source of energy for protecting boundaries and moving forward. Aggression is often associated with conflict, sharpness, and loss of control, which is why many try to suppress it. The lecture will propose viewing this feeling differently: as an inner energy that helps protect one's boundaries, defend what is important, move towards goals, and timely notice personal needs. The main question here is not how to get rid of aggression, but how to learn to manage it. Participants will analyze the difference between resourceful and destructive aggression. They will discuss what happens when irritation and anger remain inside, where the accumulated energy goes, and why suppressed emotions can interfere with work, relationships, and everyday communication. Special attention will be given to situations where it is particularly difficult to say "no," set a boundary, or calmly express dissatisfaction. The practical part will be related to a clear algorithm of actions at the moment of irritation. The poster for St. Petersburg is available on KUDAGO.
