About

A story about the city of Turinsk, which connected the fates of seven participants in the Decembrist uprising. Turinsk is a small Ural city that linked the fates of seven Decembrists. Ivan Pushchin was burdened by local boredom and sought to move to Yalutorovsk. Alexander Brighin spent several years here. Ivan Annenkov served in the Turinsk district court. Vasily Ivashov buried his wife here, who shared his hard labor and exile, and here his own path came to an end. The lecture will feature a presentation of the book "The Path of Return with Continuation," based on the memories of Ivashov's descendants about travels through Siberian cities and roads. The book reflects the connection between the 19th century and modernity, family memory, a journey of over ten thousand kilometers, and an attempt to relive the history of the family.
