This laboratory connects the ideas of Russian avant-garde with live artistic practice. The program grew out of an exhibition dedicated to Ivan Klyun and addresses the legacy of the Russian avant-garde as a living material for conversation, experience, and action. Participants will step by step examine artistic ideas from the early 20th century in today's context. The laboratory is structured as a series of meetings with various specialists. It includes an art historian, designer, costume artist, performer, and musician. The program is suitable for those interested in visual culture, design, performance, music, and interdisciplinary projects. The finale will be an open presentation of collective action, showcasing all the developments of the laboratory. Meetings will take place at the Yeltsin Center and beyond. Entertainment in Yekaterinburg is gathered on our website.
