The anniversary evening dedicated to Veniamin Basner will be a tribute to the memory of the outstanding composer. The concert program is timed to the 100th anniversary of composer Veniamin Efimovich Basner - an author whose melodies became the soundtrack of an entire era. Basner's work is deeply rooted in the memory of several generations. He wrote for theater and cinema, created songs that instantly became popular, and collaborated with outstanding poets, turning lines into music and music into the mood of the time. The films "Shield and Sword", "Striped Voyage", "The Fate of a Man", the songs "Where Does the Motherland Begin?", "At an Unnamed Height" - all of these remain a relevant cultural code. On this evening, works by Veniamin Basner will be performed by laureates of Russian and international competitions - Natalia Mikhailova and Alexander Pakhmutova. At the piano will be the concertmaster Maxim Virok-Stoletov. The program will also feature Lukerya Rasimovna and Anna Basner - the wife and daughter of the composer. We share ideas on where to go in St. Petersburg this weekend.
