The XVII International Cello Festival VIVACELLO will conclude on a high emotional note - its bright closing will take place at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. This is not just the end of the festival, but the culmination of a week filled with virtuosity, discoveries, and immersion in the depths of cello art. Outstanding musicians will gather on stage, each ready to demonstrate how unusual and multifaceted the cello can sound - in solo parts, duets, and even in unexpected ensembles. The main role of the evening will be played by Boris Andrianov - one of the brightest cellists of his generation, the ideological inspirer and artistic director of the festival. The evening's program is a true mosaic of world and Russian premieres, a crossroads of genres and styles. The "Diptych" by Podgaits for cello, domra, and chamber orchestra will be performed - its Moscow premiere. Then, the Duo Concertino by Richard Strauss in an unusual ensemble with cello, harp, and clarinet. The Argentine passion of Piazzolla in "History of Tango" will acquire a new sound thanks to the arrangement and the participation of guitar and percussion. The evening will conclude with the world premiere of the concert "Saints and Sinners" by Allen in the edition of Leonid Vintkevich. The concert will feature: Ekaterina Mochalova (domra), Igor Fyodorov (clarinet), Artyom Dervoyed (guitar), Leonid and Nikolai Vintkevich (piano and saxophone).
