Music from the iconic animated films of Hayao Miyazaki will be performed in Moscow, transporting listeners to the worlds of Totoro, "Spirited Away," and "Howl's Moving Castle." Miyazaki's animated films have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, thanks to their philosophical meanings, touching characters, captivating plots, and also - music. The composer Joe Hisaishi collaborated with the director, giving Miyazaki's universes a unique and recognizable sound. Hisaishi composed the soundtracks for films such as "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," "My Neighbor Totoro," "Spirited Away," "Howl's Moving Castle," "The Wind Rises," and many others. The enchanting melodies, which combine musical traditions from the East and West, immerse viewers completely in the events on screen. The concert will take place on July 16 at the "Yesenin Center" at: Cherynishevsky Lane, 4, bld. 2; on July 17, the concert will be held at the Russian State Library for Foreign Literature named after Rudomino at: Nikoloyamskaya St., 1.
