Under the arches of the cathedral, a program will be performed that unites organ and soprano in a dialogue of different eras. Listeners can expect compositions of European classics and a rare combination of timbres. In the space of the cathedral, a concert will unfold that merges Baroque and late Romanticism. The program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Muffat, and Max Reger, revealing the interplay of epochs through powerful organ sound and expressive vocals. At the organ will be Daria Meerova, an internationally awarded artist and holder of a special grand prize for her interpretation of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The vocal part will be performed by Maria Litke, a laureate of the "Golden Sofit" award, known for her roles in the operas of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Giacomo Puccini. A special role will be played by the instrument itself - a Baroque organ created after the models of German masters of the 18th century. The event is free, but donations are welcome.
