The virtuosic masterpiece by Vivaldi will be performed at the concert of the Stradivari Ensemble of the Mariinsky Theatre. One of the most recognizable works in the history of music - the cycle "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi - will be performed by the Stradivari Ensemble of the Mariinsky Theatre. This ensemble is unique: the musicians play on authentic instruments by great Italian masters of the 17th and 18th centuries. The violins of Stradivari, Amati, Guarneri, and other legends of violin craftsmanship produce a sound of astonishing beauty. The ensemble was founded in 2009 at the initiative of Valery Gergiev and brings together leading soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. Since 2013, the ensemble has been led by Lorenz Nasturika-Gershovich - a virtuosic violinist and conductor whose artistic style is characterized by exceptional subtlety and emotional richness. The program will feature Olga Kotlyarova (organ) and Elena Serova (harpsichord).
