The concert series from the "Belcanto Foundation" continues with an evening of Baroque music. Cellist Pavel Glazyrin, soprano Tatyana Lansky, and organist Olga Kotlyarova will perform the outstanding and incredibly popular work of the Baroque era - the cycle of concerts "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi. The Baroque musical style dominated Europe from the 16th century until the death of Johann Sebastian Bach in 1750. Bach's legacy became the crown of German Baroque and at the same time music that can never become outdated. In Italy, contemporaneously with Bach, Antonio Vivaldi created, whom the German master admired, and whose music had a profound influence on him. Vivaldi was a virtuoso violinist, conductor, and teacher. His legacy includes operas, choral works, concertos for various instruments with orchestra, and many other compositions. The program will feature Vivaldi's violin concertos "The Four Seasons" in arrangement, as well as works by Johann Sebastian Bach - music that, perhaps, everyone has heard and can be enjoyed endlessly.
