When music and poetry merge into one, magic is born. The night concert program will feature Tchaikovsky's "Seasons" accompanied by Russian poetry. Familiar melodies from childhood will acquire a new sound, while the poems will give them depth, meaning, and a thrill before the change of seasons. On a late December evening, listeners will experience a rare format - a musical-poetic act where academic music connects with the voices of Russian poetry. Tchaikovsky's cycle "Seasons" will be performed by the State Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow", under the artistic direction of Vladimir Spivakov. The program is performed without a conductor, adding even more intimacy and subtlety to the perception. Each of Tchaikovsky's pieces represents a month, immersed in music, from January's blizzards to December's snowflakes. These pieces, familiar to many since early childhood, acquire a different sound in orchestral version, revealing the full palette of the composer's moods and feelings. Alongside them, poems by Russian poets will be recited - deeply lyrical, vivid, filled with philosophical reflections. They are read by actor Yuri Anpilogov - a voice that delicately conveys the mood of each line. Entertainment in Moscow is gathered on our website.
