Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's violin concertos will be performed by the orchestra and soloists Galya Zharova and Anastasia Mamyasheva. The evening will combine elegance, virtuosity, and striking contrasts of the evening's era. At the center of the program are two violin concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The first concerto for violin and orchestra in B-flat major and the second concerto in D major allow us to hear how the composer worked with the instrument, combining virtuosity, clarity of form, and expressiveness of melody. The soloists will be violinists Galya Zharova and Anastasia Mamyasheva. The music will be performed by the State Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow" under the direction of Vyacheslav Larin. The composition of the program is designed so that Mozart's violin concertos are juxtaposed with works by his contemporaries, helping to see the musical context of the era. In the first part, Symphony No. 37 in G major, long associated with Mozart's name, will be performed. It was later established that the main part of the work belongs to Michael Haydn. In 1783, Mozart performed the symphony and made his own changes - adding a slow introduction and correcting the score. The second part of the evening will open with the overture by Joseph Boulogne de Saint-Georges to the comic opera "The Anonymous Lover."
