The concert addresses the tradition of the Russian seven-string guitar - warm, melodic, and highly expressive. The program will combine works by domestic guitarists and transcriptions of great composers, and the sound of two performers will allow listeners to hear familiar academic music in an unusual timbral light. The program features works by M. Vysotsky, M. Pavlov-Azancheev, V. Vavilov, and Sergey Orekhov - musicians through whom the tradition of the Russian guitar has formed, developed, and remained alive through different eras. Special interest is aroused by the transcriptions of great composers, which acquire a different pattern, a different shade, and a more intimate sound on the seven-string guitar. Sergey Perelekhov and Tigran Tandilyan will take the stage. Other events in Nizhny Novgorod can be found on KudaGo.
