An evening of piano music at the Gogol House - an emotional journey through the seasons, moods, and styles, embodied in the sound of the piano. The program will be performed by Vasily Cherotchenko, a young and talented pianist who has already conquered dozens of stages in Russia and Europe. The program will feature three works with a lyrical mood. The concert will open with "The Seasons" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - a cycle filled with images of nature, human experiences, and lyrical states. Each piece is a small story reflecting the atmosphere of the month, whether it be spring awakening or winter meditation. Following this will be "Variations on a Theme of Chopin" by Sergei Rachmaninoff. This large-scale work reveals the theme of Chopin's prelude in twenty-two variations, each reflecting a specific emotional state, from passion to deep contemplation. The concert will conclude with Tchaikovsky's Romance in F minor - a chamber and sincere piece that emphasizes the lyrical mood of the evening.
