International competition laureate Evgeny Ivashko invites you to an evening of piano music at the Yeltsin Center. The virtuoso performance of works by Mozart, Chopin, Schubert, and Liszt promises to be a musical journey full of emotions, beauty, and inspiration for every listener. The final chord of the autumn cycle of piano concerts at the Yeltsin Center will be performed by Evgeny Ivashko - winner of the 1st prize at the VIII International Competition in memory of Vera Lotar-Shevchenko. This musician has already gained public recognition for his emotionality, refined taste, and powerful energy. His new performance will be a true celebration for all classical music lovers. On this evening, listeners can expect a rich and diverse program. The first part will open with Mozart's Fantasy No. 3 in D minor - a piece where dreaminess combines with drama. Then, Chopin's Etude No. 1 will be performed, along with the bright and picturesque "Belarusian Souvenirs" by Evgeny Glebov in Igor Olovnikov's arrangement, as well as two compositions by Liszt - the lyrical "Dreams of Love" and the powerful Transcendental Etude No. 10. All pieces require not only technical mastery from the performer but also delicate emotional expressiveness. In the second part, Ivashko will present one of Schubert's most poetic cycles - four impromptus from Op. 90, where romance, bright sadness, and the brilliance of classical form intertwine. The concert will conclude with Liszt's works inspired by Schubert's music - Waltz-Caprice No. 6 from "Viennese Evenings" and the famous Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6. Evgeny Ivashko is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, a student of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ovchinnikov. He has performed with leading orchestras in Russia and the CIS, including the "Virtuosos of Moscow", the Ural Academic Philharmonic Orchestra, and the ensemble "Russian Music". His repertoire encompasses both masterpieces of the classical era and works by contemporary composers.
