The music of Bach, Purcell, and Vierne performed on organ and cello will be accompanied by video projections of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings. Van Gogh is one of those masters whose talent was truly appreciated only after his death. However, he always had one loyal admirer: his brother Theo supported Vincent, admired his work, and was his main patron. Their friendship is known from the surviving correspondence - fragments of these letters will be heard during the concert. The masterpieces of the Dutch post-impressionist, projected onto the dome of the cathedral, will complement the music of the classics and immerse the listeners in the artist's world.
