These works do not require a plot - their music itself creates an epic canvas. The second part of the program is Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake." Neapolitan and Spanish dances, a dance with goblets, two Pas de deux - in the orchestra's performance, they acquire an independent stage life, needing no visual accompaniment.
