The final evening of the festival will combine a jazz orchestra, artistic word, and an ancient Russian plot in the premiere musical and poetic performance «The Tale of Igor's Campaign». At the center of the program is the premiere musical and poetic performance based on «The Tale of Igor's Campaign», one of the most famous monuments of ancient Russian literature. The artistic word is entrusted to Sergey Bezrukov. The musical foundation will be the legacy of Alexander Borodin arranged by Nikolai Levinovsky from the album «Images. Mussorgsky and Borodin». The compositions will be performed by the jazz orchestra under the direction of Igor Butman. The saxophone, orchestral solos, rhythm section, and the dramaturgy of the text will help to hear the familiar cultural layer without heavy solemnity.
