This evening is dedicated to inspiration, romance, and the history of great works created in honor of beautiful women. Masterpieces by Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Milhaud, and Chopin will be performed in the chamber hall of the Capella. In the chamber hall of the Capella, works dedicated by great composers to special women who influenced their creativity will be performed. The program includes Tchaikovsky's lyrical "Melody," associated with Nadezhda von Meck, Ravel's vibrant "Gypsy," inspired by Hungarian violinist Jelly d'Aranyi, as well as Milhaud's "Four Female Portraits" and Chopin's famous "Barcarolle." The program will be performed by pianist Elena Ledginova, violinist Evgenia Balayants, and violist Dmitry Yakubovsky. The concert will be complemented by stories from honored cultural worker of Russia Larisa Vorontsova, who will reveal unknown facts about music and muses to the audience. This event will be an ideal gift for International Women's Day.
