Three composers - three perspectives on piano music: the poetry of Chopin, the mysticism of Scriabin, and the lyricism of Rachmaninoff. The music of three great composers and pianists will be performed by Vladimir Skorokhodov. Frédéric Chopin is the embodiment of Romanticism and one of the main precursors of modern pianism. The Russian geniuses Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Rachmaninoff often seem like opposites: the music of one is refined, fragile, and ecstatic, while the other is characterized by deep lyricism, breadth, and a connection to Russian tradition. At the concert, their works will be performed side by side, and listeners will be able to understand how differently the composers responded to the same questions - about freedom, love, and the purpose of art.
